What is Physical Fitness?
There are many different types of physical fitness, but overall it can be defined as a state of being where you have the energy and strength to complete day-to-day activities without feeling excessively tired. It’s important to have physical fitness because it helps reduce your risk of developing chronic health conditions, such as heart disease, stroke, and diabetes. It also helps improve your mental health and mood.
There are different fitness goals you can set depending on your current level of physical fitness. If you’re just starting, your goal might be to walk for 30 minutes a day, five days a week. Once you’ve built up some endurance, you might want to increase your goal to running or add in some strength training. And if you’re already active, your goal might be to challenge yourself with a new activity or workout routine.
No matter what your fitness goals are, remember to start slow and build up gradually. And most importantly, have fun! Physical activity should be something you enjoy, not something you dread.
